i’ve been doing some spring cleaning and I’ve decided i’m now turning my personal blog into my art blog. My new blog will contain my own art posts, tutorials from others and possibly myself in the future, and other tips for an artist’s well being. This blog will be deleted on Sunday. Here’s my finished assignment for my Character Design and Storyboarding for Animation class. We had to take our favorite live-action series and do a 4 character animation lineup. I picked Heroes : ) Hiro’s file ended up to big so the scale is off on him.

I started my Character Design and Storyboarding for Animation class on Monday. I’m sooooo excited for it! These headshots are practice drawings for my second assignment for the class. We have to take our favorite live-action tv show and draw a 4 character ensemble cast as an animated series. I’m currently obsessed with Heroes right now so I drew Peter, Claire, Hiro and Sylar. I’ll post the full body shots later : )
If Danny didn’t have to deal with all this cyborg shit he probably would have been a musician. It’s a hobby now. He plays both acoustic and electric. Expect a singing voice from Johnny Yong Bosch cause he’s signing onto REVOLVER now : )

Here’s our protagonist Danny Morales! About 75% of his body is cybernetically augmented. You can’t see most of it because his cybernetics are being covered by prosthetic skin. Sneaky. If you look closely at the back of his neck, the only parts that aren’t hidden are cable sockets.
Danny is a cybernetic soldier who works for the American Alliance’s Special Forces Unit as a reconnaissance agent against the Regime. He has no memory of the past two years of his life and has been searching for answers only to find that the Alliance is deliberately hiding the truth from him.Just when he believes he has lost hope, a wayward witness protection assignment leads him to the meeting of a mutant girl named Jay who exposes him to the great conspiracy between the two warring factions and triggers a secret power within him that unlocks fragments of his fractured memory. With Jay as his new partner, he must battle the agents of the Regime and identify his true purpose in the Red War.
Danny will potentially be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch who is known for his roles as Ichigo from Bleach, Lelouch from Code Geass and Adam Park of Power Rangers : )
